Locating A Dermal Filler Course For Your Career Development

By: Julia William

Many professionals today offer various cosmetic procedures that help patients to reverse or prevent the effects of aging or other skin damage. Dermal fillers are certainly one such set of procedures that typically offer great results. When thinking about these types of treatments, a licensed professional that has completed an accredited dermal filler course is ultimately the only one capable of perform these kind of procedures. Furthermore, knowing that someone has had suitable experience is also essential.

It is very important that you receive the proper training if in fact you are a specialist that offers cosmetic treatments and would like to perform dermal treatments yourself which would be in the best interest of your clientele. Dermal fillers are procedures that help to restore volume to facial areas that have lost volume because of aging or other issues. They are non-surgical treatment options that enhance or provide lift to the shape of the facial area. These treatments normally include work on the lips, chin, cheeks, eyebrows, nose, the edges of the mouth, tear troughs or other areas with small static wrinkles. Based on the number of different techniques that are covered and the type of expertise you are looking for, training in a dermal filler course will take from four months to two years.

You really need to identify what your level of need is so that you can register for the right amount of training so do consider what precisely you're looking to accomplish before checking into various classes. The kind of dermal procedures you would in the end like to perform is included in areas to consider. Bear in mind, some fillers can be dissolved easily with other injections however some others will be more permanent. While many people might be enticed with a permanent procedure, it should be noted that these techniques have a much higher risk for infection or other unpleasant complications. Many organizations or institutes offering training do not offer a dermal filler program for these more permanent choices.

Today’s technology might allow some of your training to be completed online but definitely much should be conducted in person. You will want and need the opportunity for hands-on training so you can see what the skin looks like in actuality versus simply on a computer screen. You will be in a better position to adequately provide services to your patients if you have the proper level and volume of training. Because you have also received more hands-on experience, you will be able to better help in the event complications develop. While dermal courses may be accomplished virtually, that is not at all an appropriate course of action as far as your training goes.

When you are evaluating programs, length of time to finish a course or certification is likely to be a prime decision point for you. This is where knowing the level of experience you need will be vital, as these two factors are usually very inter-related. Another important concern is likely to be cost. A large portion of the overall cost for any dermal filler training course will be for materials that will be used during training. Impacting the cost can also be the depth of training and the quantity of materials needed as it relates to the level of expertise you're needing.

When you are trying to find a dermal filler course, ensure you find one that teaches just what you need and fits your timetable and budget. To be able to provide your patients with good treatment options, be diligent and have hands-on experience when it comes to your training and beware of how to deal with complicated situations when they pop up.

Tips on Shopping for Appliances

By: Michael Sutanto

If you're looking for quality appliances in Mississauga area, then you know how difficult it can be to find what you're looking for. Although there are many places you could buy appliances in the area from, some of them leave a lot to be desired. Here are some tips to help make the entire shopping experience easier.

- Customer review - Talk to the people you know who have purchased an appliance recently, especially if they bought the same kind of appliance you are now trying to buy. They can give you some ideas about where to start looking.

- Check product survey - Spend some time on the phone and the web before you even leave the house. A recent survey conducted by Consumer Reports found that about 30 percent of those who bought appliances looked up advice on the websites of retailers before they bought. Out of those who did their research first, 75 percent of them found that spending time on a retailer's website first was helpful. Almost 80 percent of those who called the retailer to ask questions first felt like it was definitely worth their time to do so.

- Check the details of the appliance - Check to see which way the doors open before you buy any appliance. Most appliances can open on either the right or the left, and in the case of refrigerators, some even open from both sides. One of the most annoying things you will find when an appliance arrives is that it opens from the wrong side. Think about how your home and your space are laid out before you buy the appliance.

- Measure the appliance - Do your measurements accurately and carefully, including measuring the appliance itself. Most appliances do list their size, but you should perform your own measurements to ensure that they will fit properly. Some measurements given by manufacturers may not take into account the thickness of the door. And don't forget to measure how far the door opens so that you know if you will even be able to open it in the space you have allotted for the appliance.

- Arm yourself with ads for various appliances while you shop - It won't take long for you to get confused about which retailers are offering certain prices on various models. By arming yourself with ads from various retailers, you will not only be able to keep track of the prices they are offering, but also possibly use those ads in your price negotiations if needed.

- Ask the retailers - When you visit the retailers, ask if they offer extras like free delivery and hookup. These extras will help immensely and could even tip the scales in favor of one retailer over another.

- Special offers - Sometimes you can save money by purchasing more than one appliance or combining special offers from both the manufacturer of the appliance and the retailer who sells it.

- Certain times of the year - Try to make your appliance purchases at certain times of the year. They often go on sale right before and after the winter holidays. Also the fall is often a great time to find sales as manufacturers close out the current model.

Youngest Entrepreneurs - Keeley Tillotson and Erika Welsh

By: Alison Malambri

Fortune announced Erika Welsh and Keeley Tillotson amongst the youngest women entrepreneurs of 2012. Keeley and Erika ranked no.4 in Fortune’s "Ladies Who Launch: Dorm Room Startups." At the age of 20, Erika and Keeley became inventors of Wild Squirrel Nut Butter.

Their story began from one dull Sunday at the Oregon University. Both were in their college apartment, munching some snacks and peanut butter. Usually when all snacks get over, students turn to the grocery store to buy something new and fresh every time except Keeley and Erika. As high school students of University of Oregon, they used raw peanuts bags and a food processor to whip up a home-based treat as well as added new ingredients in the recipe, and Wild Squirrel Nut Butter took birth. Though, as inspired chefs, they were not content with leaving their newly made peanut butter to be just crunchy. Therefore they set to add each possible item from their food store. They sprinkled in coconut, raisins, cinnamon; chocolate chips, coffee and the inventory goes on and on.

After experimenting and sampling, they determined their product was purely too good quality to keep to themselves, so they brought few jars over to their friends. And their friends loved it, so they encouraged them to create a website to trade their yummy products. Then they made their own website and discovered that chatty and passionate friends built word of mouth as an influential advertising tool! After experimenting in their college apartment’s kitchen, both best friends launched a brand of nut butters. They were instantly kept active through regular orders from family, friends, and fellow students.

In January both young women began selling their Wild Squirrel at one of the farmer markets in Oregon, and that marketing helped expand Nut Butter. They invented five flavors: vanilla espresso butter, chocolate sunflower seed, cinnamon raisin butter, honey pretzel and chocolate coconut butter. Both passionate young working women recently appeared in Oprah’s Magazine and are trying to set up next to the ASUO Street Faire handing out few samples as well as selling their nationally known Wild Squirrel peanut butter.

The duo sent a sample to the food blogger Kath Younger, whose enthusiastic review awakened hundreds of orders. They were launched in local grocery stores and farmers market in November and a year later they were in demand across the country and this demand was growing every day. The awesome twosome came in ABC’s Shark Tank in 2012. Appearing on the show was a flashing PR move. Wild Squirrel Nut Butter’s five flavors are now sold at 160 stores.

They have big dreams for their little company. Tillotson said, "In 10 years, I see myself as CEO of a peanut butter company," and Erika said, "This will somehow be in our lives." Wild Squirrel Nut Butter is the best example of ‘hunger being the mother of nation.’

Erika and Keeley left college after completing their sophomore years, and focusing on their business. At a present they are taking online courses, living with their parents, and pouring earnings back into their small business. And the early life has made all the difference, also proved that anyone and anything can change life at any age.

More Weight Loss Tips To Share With You

By: Charmin Kellison

If you have been trying hard to lose weight but still cannot achieve the result, here are more weight loss tips I like to share with you. Hopefully doing so, you can achieve your goal successfully.

1. Eating Healthy

Your first priority should be eating healthy.

For your info, eating healthy means eating what is healthy for you and not what you like to eat or how much you like to eat. I know this is not an easy task especially when the thought of restricting the quantity and what you want to eat shock you.

Though you can consult with your doctor, ask your family and friends, their advice may not always to be your liking. In this case you may want to plan out on a piece of paper.

Instead of potato chips and flies, you may consider cereals and fruits. Instead of meat, you may consider vegetables and potatoes. Instead of ice cream and sweet desserts, you may consider yogurt and herbal soup. You might also want to reduce your intake of rice, noodles and bread since they contained a lot of carbohydrates.

All in one, you should reduce every portion of your meal to the size of your fist. Do this everyday and you will certainly be on the right track to eating healthy.

2. Exercising Regularly

Besides eating, exercising regularly is just as important.

Although eating healthy is great, it only helps you in achieving a quarter of your weight loss goal as in reducing your carbohydrate intake. The rest lies in how you keep yourself healthy.

Traditionally, gym workouts, jogging, swimming and being active in team sports like basketball, volleyball and soccer can help to make a major difference in your health. Though they still are now, how are you able to do that everyday or a few times a week when you have a busy working schedule?

For this case, you might consider simple workouts like sit ups. Make it a point to do them everyday when you wake up. Since sits up beginning with lying and getting your upper body up, that should not be too much of a chore for you as compared to those exercises I mentioned above.

Or you might consider investing in exercise bicycle that you can put by your bedside and make it your daily routine of exercising with it everyday when you wake up.

But if you do not have the discipline to keep yourself committed everyday, sign up for your nearest weight loss centre. There you can either workout by yourself or have an instructor training you one-to-one until you lose weight successfully.

Body Art - Let your tattoos do the talking

By: Kian Riley

Body art, (tattoos) or (tattooing) has been a mainstay in popular culture for years, however, during the crazy nineties and the naughty noughties the tattoo popularity sky rocketed and entered the mainstream.

Today you will find that tattoos is everywhere, also you may have noticed that body piercings or modifications has been closely linked to people with tattoos.

Body art are actually very common these days and are liked by a huge number of people from all walks life, these people range from rock enthusiasts to Goths to sportsmen / women and celebrities basically anyone who feels that they can express themselves through using designs on their body to convey a message or express some sort of loyalty, they can be images of anything including satanic references.

Tattoos Gang and Prison Culture

Street gangs, hoods and criminals also have a close affinity with the tattoo, they use tattoo designs on their body as a way to identify themselves and others with being affiliated with the same or a rival gang or crew. It is quite common for these sorts of people to use tattooing as a way of respecting fallen crew members, imprisoned friends or people that have died either through natural causes , criminal activities or sudden death.

There are instances where a person has undergone training and have studied gangland behavior to help the police and detectives to identify the gangs signature and culture and way of thinking, this also helps the law enforcement agencies to keep an vigilant eye on a member of a gang that they feel poses a threat.

Body Art, Will They Be Around For The Foreseeable Future?

Certainly during the last twenty odd years, tattoos were associated with people that love to be a rebel, the type of person who is outspoken and takes no s**t from anyone, this person has used tattoo designs to portray being some sort of bad ass.

There are those out there who think that tattoos is disgusting and gross, this ancient art form abused or not is something that you either like it or not.

Tattoos are often a wonderful way of conveying something about yourself to others through designs, however, I can understand why someone would think they are horrible especially as there are times when you look at someone and think to yourself "You should of stopped earlier" a person can become addicted to getting inked and it may start at the back but end being a full body piece.

You don't have to be a "Bad Ass" to have a tattoo these days, one fact that is for definite is that body art are too popular to ignore in modern society these days, Christ there are even dedicated exhibits and galleries for tattoo designs and tattooing.

Still, this is something that would of been frowned upon and unheard of 20 years ago, there was a quote that was used by someone at a convention when being interviewed by a narrow minded journalist, this tattoo enthusiast remarked "Tattoos Rule, and it will never go out of fashion" looking back at that day this dude was right, no matter what is going on in the world or economic climate people still want to be inked.

Although there is still some negativity towards body art from elderly people, they still remain today as one of the most popular ways of expressing ones self or beliefs across all cultures.

It also means that tattoos will continue to trend for quite some considerable time, with celebrities and sports people adorning themselves with tattoo designs it will help keep this ancient art form in the minds of kids as they look up to these people and see that tattoos are not all that bad and are a means of expression.

Safely Storing Ammunition When Hunting

By: Bob Fisher

Hunting is an extremely popular sport and pastime activity all over North America. There is nothing quite like being out in nature and feeling the thrill and the challenge of tracking and then killing game. Of course, safety while hunting should be a paramount concern, and the responsible hunter will make sure that he stores his ammunition in a safe manner. To safely store ammunition is the difference between an enjoyable and successful day out and a catastrophic day marked by injury and potentially death. There are a couple of ways to safely store ammunition when hunting.

Metal Ammunition Cans

The first way involves the use of metal ammunition cans. Metal ammunition cans are ideal when hunting since they are big enough to contain a lot of ammunition all in one, easily accessible area. These cans are characterized by a tight-locking feature that really gives hunters peace of mind: It is virtually impossible for the ammunition to spill out in the event that this can gets knocked over or even stepped on.

In order to make it to a hunting area, one will have to typically drive a ways out into the wilderness. When traveling in a car to a hunting area, there are a lot of easy storage place right within the vehicle that will make storing metal ammunition cans a cinch. Similarly, if one is using a motorcycle to get to a hunting area, it will usually feature either a storage area right under the seat or on the side that makes for an ideal location to place metal ammunition cans.

How to Deal With Moisture

Some hunters in North America are likely not familiar with the use of moisture absorption packets to help them safely store ammunition when hunting, but these are an amazing help. Saving these small keep-fresh packets can mean the difference between ammunition that is dry and fresh and ammunition that is wet and useless. These keep-fresh packets are what one normally discovers within new shoes or even pill bottles. A lot of ordinary people just throw them in the garbage, in part due to their fear of the accompanying warning that urges people to keep them out of the reach of kids. However, the smart hunter can save these keep-fresh packets and find a more effective way to store their ammunition safely. They can be placed inside any metal ammunition can, which works to keep the ammunition dry and fresh.

The hunter also requires a place in which to safely store his ammunition after he has returned home from hunting and when he is not actively using his bullets. For blatant safety reasons, one obviously cannot just keep ammunition lying around in the house; what would happen if, for instance, small children would happen upon this ammunition?

Selecting a Gun Safe

The use of a gun safe essentially solves this problem for any hunter. It offers a secure, safe place to keep one’s ammunition, which will work to create peace of mind for anybody worried about ammunition being misused. Any good gun safe will be fireproof, though it must be noted that not all gun safes are created equally because there is quite a price range with these safes. Some can cost as little as just $65 while others can cost as much as $1000. Some also are better for larger ammunition while others are capable of storing smaller ammunition. Personal circumstances will dictate which type of gun safe works best for a hunter.

Storing your ammunition safely and properly should never be compromised on. This goes for situations when one is hunting as well as just storing your ammunition at home. When you look at the statistics, it's scary just how many accidental gun deaths stem from the improper storing of ammunition. By planning ahead and storing your ammunition safely you can enjoy hunting and avoid tragic accidents.

Deciding On A Vacuum Cleaner That Is Suited For Hardwood

By: Emery Laquerre

Do not drive too much. Whilst sweeping, this can lead you to pull dirt particles throughout the floor, scratching it. Once you've swept up remember to clean. Switch your canister often. Keep in mind, you are utilising the vacuum cleaner for effectiveness. A full vacuum bag is not only ineffective, it stinks very poor too. Canine or kitten "issues"? Clear it up quickly and precisely. Never expect to use your vacuum parts to simply pull up the mess. The chaos will get swept up in the floor cleaners hose pipe, and you will have a tough time removing it.

The wand connection, which comes with your vacuum solution, is great for getting rid of big particles from hardwood flooring. Possessing a hard wood flooring is lovely but sometimes it can be a job to provide for. So, here are some hardwood floor cleaning tips. Mop flooring using a spray bottle blended with standard water and floor cleanser. Now obtain a very damp cleaner and clean the ground massaging in the cleanser. Doing this cleans along with treating your flooring.

Keep the vacuum cleaners wheels clean. Sometimes, grit could stick to the wheels and abrade the hardwood flooring. Try to invest some time and discover a cleaner that's well suited for the sort of floor you have.

Always make sure that the vacuum bags are emptied before you begin to use it it. You'll get spillages; wipe them up immediately. Do not distribute the liquid, work from the outside to the center of the leak. Great attention should be used when vacuuming wood floor. This is especially valid if you are not using one that's designed specifically for wood floor coverings.

Once the hardwood has been cleansed, never polish it. This will make your flooring slippery, trigger accidents, and spoil your floor. Hard wood floor surfaces are usually used because of their appearance. They are manufactured from planks crashed from a bit of wood. These types of Wood bits are then set onto the flooring. Mop the floor by using a spray container combined with normal water and floor cleaner. Now obtain a very damp cleaner and mop the floor massaging in the cleaner. Doing this cleans as well as treating your floors. Dirt on a wood floors is much like sandpaper on apparent plastic. When you go walking through the floor, the soil abrades the safety finish on the hardwood which in turn makes it lifeless. Unless you get the dirt up, you'll grind away the finish with every single footstep. Applying inappropriate or strong chemical compounds on to the floor can make it change color and even ruin it completely.

Exactly like your automobile, some things are better dealt with using an expert. Easier to spend a few dollars for a yearly service then to get a new vacuum cleaner prematurely. As soon as the wood has been cleaned, never polish it. This can make your floor slippery, cause incidents, and destroy your flooring. The vacuum sweeper is an option you might like to think about. These sweepers are made in such a way that it allows simple maneuverability around sides.

Keep your vacuum. It's an instrument so clean her down and keep her clear.
Cylinder vacuum cleaners simply take more area to shop, and there are more elements. The actuallightweight upright vacuums may vary based on person preferences, however there are a number of things that will everyone should know prior to getting.

Shopping Strategies for Portable Air Conditioners

By: Jane Dabad

If you're trying to save money on a new portable air conditioner, your best bet is to try to buy in the "off-season." This means that you should look for a new air conditioner between October and March.

However, you can often find good sales on if portable air conditioners as early as July or August. As the sales of air conditioners slow down towards the end of the summer, you can often see sales and discounts springing up. This can be a great way to save some serious cash on a new portable air conditioner.

The downside of buying an air conditioner in the off-season or when the heavy discounts are introduced is that your selection will be more limited than if you were buying during the peak of the season. For many people, it might make sense to purchase a new air conditioner when the new models become available in the spring and when there is a large inventory available in local stores.

In recent years, many warehouse stores–like BJ's and Costco–have begun to sell portable air conditioners in the spring. The downside of buying from one of these stores is that you have limited choice in brands. But the upside is that you can save a significant amount of money by purchasing your air conditioner at a warehouse store.

As an example, in the past couple of summers you have been able to find great deals on popular brands (like Amana and Delonghi) at Costco. Costco had these brands in the most popular sizes–12,000 BTUs and 14,000 BTUs–for steep discounts. Moreover, not only can you purchase such popular air-conditioners from warehouse stores, but you can also use their website and have unit delivered directly to your home.

Although you have to purchase a membership with in order to shop at these warehouse stores, generally speaking you will more than make up the cost of the membership with the discount that you will receive on your portable air-conditioning unit. If you're in the market for an import or air-conditioner, it's not a bad idea to check out your local warehouse stores to get an idea of the brands that they have available and to determine how competitive their prices are.

Wherever you decide to purchase your air conditioner from, make sure that you check out the units carefully on the manufacturer's website. There you will get information about which features come standard with your new portable air conditioner, as well as information about each unit’s cooling capability.

Because portable air conditioners have become so popular in recent years, there is a steady supply of them that come on the market through the summer. These units are cost-effective and easy to install and, therefore, we have seen a huge demand in the portable air conditioner unit.

Another benefit is that these units are invisible from the outside of your home. Unlike a window air conditioner, which must sit in your window, these portable air conditioners only require a small vent through which to run the exhaust pipe.

Essential Life Skills You Could Master This Summer

By: Laura Ginn

Summer is only a couple of months away and now seems like the right time for you to chalk out your plans and list out the many things you’d want to strike off your bucket list, for life, starting this summer! Nobody wants to turn into a blob and lie there on the couch all day, watching mindless shows on the television, when in fact you could be mastering a new set of essential skills every single day, all of which will certainly come to your rescue one fine day. If you don’t know where to begin from, here’s a list of essential life skills you could look into:

Bake:

Baking is an entirely rewarding activity. Once you master the art, or get close to being even sufficiently good at it, you would want to spend days baking and gorging on your own goodies! Everybody loves a person who can bake. Besides that, it will allow you to experiment with a whole set of recipes in the kitchen, be self-sufficient and earn brownie points every time you bake for someone!

Swim:

This one is for all of you who love being on beaches, but are never quite prepared to head into the water for a good swim. Swimming is a skill one ought to master as it is relaxing, helps burn a lot of calories, increases your appetite and can be of immense help when any kind of tragedy strikes! Breathe easy and don’t let the massive waves dampen your spirits even as you try to learn the basics. Or, you could just dive into a swimming pool to start with.

Drive:

Nothing makes you feel more independent than being able to drive your own car from place to place and not having to rely on public transport, or worse, on other people. Summers are a good time to enrol yourself for driving lessons after having figured the driving test cost and prepare yourself well, just in case you plan to hit the road any time soon, considering the fact that summers are the best time for road trips!

Go Dancing:

It may not figure on the list of usual set of life skills, but trust us; nothing works better than blowing someone’s mind off with good dancing skills, or at least manageable ones! Join a class, be it for salsa, jive, contemporary, hip-hop or ballroom. Dancing is an excellent way of working out, toning your body and having fun while at it. Before you even realize, you’ll be waltzing your way at dance parties and you will know what an important (social) life skill it is after all.

Go Camping:

Make most of the summers and gather a bunch of friends and head out on a long trail which ends in a night or two of setting camp somewhere. Camping is a quick way of learning more than one survival skill and a fun way of toughening oneself up, making sure that one can survive all vagaries of nature and life, in general!
Been there, done that, Laura spent last summer mastering her driving skills. Then she checked out how much a driving test cost on uSwitch.com and booked herself in. This summer she plans on taking her friends on a road trip.

A Rude Awakening

By: Deborah Shimer

January and February have both come and gone; and for most of us so have our New Year’s Resolutions. I recently was reminded of the most popular resolution (weight loss) as I was recycling my magazines and I came across the January issues of Health Magazine and People (the former is work-related and the latter is my little, guilty pleasure!). It was not surprising to me that these early 2013 issues were filled with stories about weight loss and lifestyle changes.

Many of the stories I read focused on moments in a person’s life when he or she knew that they had to change. The stories in People were about individuals who had lost a significant amount of weight, ranging from 60 to 396 pounds. In each case, the health of the individual was severely compromised, leading to dramatic action being taken and/or required. The articles prompted me to think about my experiences with clients and friends who made the decision to get healthy before such a "crisis" moment.

Clients in their early sessions with me, and people generally who are carrying "extra pounds," will often tell me they are happy at that particular weight. Perhaps they feel a need to justify a personal reality that they know is fundamentally unhealthy. I hope you do not think me harsh – but I never believe them. I am sure that some tell themselves that they "look good for their age" or have another rationalization at hand. But deep down, if they are to go to their inner well of denial, they are actually unhappy about their weight, how they feel and how they look. Do you know what I am talking about? Have you ever heard someone who has lost weight say "Wow, I was so much happier lugging around that extra, 10, 20, 30, 40 pounds"? I haven’t. Yet so many people try to convince themselves that they are ok with the status quo.

What I have learned through working with my clients is that the extra weight they are holding onto rarely has anything directly to do with food. Instead, a weight issue often has more to do with the holes in their lives than the food on their plates. As a result, the WHY we eat or don’t eat, can have as important an impact on weight loss as the WHAT we eat. Really, we all can make healthier choices about what we eat – but we have to work through our underlying resistance in order to make a lasting, positive change in our lives.

In my practice, I look at a client’s holes and blind spots, which by their very definition can be hard for someone to recognize on their own. Sometimes it is a puzzle that takes time to work through as the metaphorical onion is peeled back, layer by layer. However, once we have recognized a true "call to action" regarding our weight, and our health generally, we can no longer ignore the gut feeling that something is not right.

I am not saying that you have to be super thin!!! Rather, you need to feel good (inside and out) about yourself and, ultimately, your weight is part of that feeling (as long as you are within a reasonable range that is truly healthy for you). So, how do you get there? The solution is not to go on another diet, but to uncover the areas or issues in your life that are manifesting themselves in what and how you eat. In undertaking this effort, you will get out and explore, try new things, reignite old passions or find new ones. Alternatively, staying "stuck" will lead to more of the same, including incremental inches on your waistline over time, which could be the recipe for an actual health crisis.

"Change" does not have to be complicated. As I say often, it requires two things – making the choice to do things differently and to get the support you need to make it effective. If my words here are ringing true for you and/or making you a little uncomfortable, it means that you may be ready to explore a new path for yourself over the remaining months of 2013.

The Mayan calendar has ended, but the world has not. As a global community, we have left behind a very challenging year. Collectively and individually, let’s make this one different, which requires you to step up and do your part! When you are passionate and full of life, those around you are impacted positively. As a result, you will be more fulfilled and those extra pounds will melt away as you let go of everything that is not working for you and get back your zest for life.

Here are a few trigger questions for you:

1. Do feel often frustrated and then ignore it?
2. Is your inner flame barely flickering?
3. Do you look at the life you want and are frustrated because you seem to keep going in circles instead?
If you are ready to ditch the diet, step modestly out of your comfort zone, and are truly brave enough to stop living under the radar in order to find the disconnect in your life, Deborah Nelson Shimer is an amazing resource for you. The Fast Lane to Employment

By: Danielle Dayres

No job seeker wants to spend all of his time in the job search, the quicker he can reach his career goal, the better. That is the goal, right? The quickest way for you to land a great job is to assure your efforts are effective by being aggressive and focused. If you are ready to get the most out of your job search, use these insider tips to collect your ticket for the fast lane to your new job.

1. Develop a Plan and Get Organized
Investing time to get organized and develop a job search plan will help speed up the job search process. Create lists of things you need to do and people to contact and use this plan to keep you on track as you search for a job.

2. Create Your Templates
A personalized resume and cover letter are the keys to gaining attention and landing an interview, yet this does take time that you might not have. Instead of creating a whole new resume and cover letter each time you apply for an opening, develop a template with your basic information, which you can then briefly spruce up and customize with key words and accomplishments that are targeted to the job opening.

3. Focus Your Efforts
Rather than wasting your time posting your resume on every job search engine, search for websites that are targeted to your geographical location or line of work. Use key words, relevant to your career field, when searching for posting and websites. This will eliminate any wasted time and make your efforts more effective.

4. Get Networking
Incorporate networking efforts into each day of your job search plan. Sending an email or LinkedIn message is a quick way to connect with people in you network and inform them of you job search. Contact your previous bosses and coworkers, as these individuals are familiar with your work and may be able to offer you a job lead or referral.

5. Go Social
Social networking sites, such as LinkedIn and Facebook have become the quickest way for companies to advertise job opening and for job seekers to land a job. Update your personal profiles to reflect your skills and accomplishments as well as the fact that you are actively looking for opportunities. Join and participate in groups that are focused on your career goals. You will also want to identify and connect with companies’ pages. Many organizations will advertise openings on these pages and thus you will be able to quickly apply for these positions.

6. Perfect Your Interview Skills
Be prepared will help you accelerate your job search. Practice questions and techniques as soon as you begin the job search to assure you are prepared to ace the interview. Make sure you have appropriate attire and copies of your resume ready so that you can go on an interview at any time.

7. Don’t Forget to Follow Up
Following up on applications and interviews is necessary to quickly land a job. Have everything you need for a thank you note on hand, so that you can send on directly after an interview. You will also want to follow up on any resumes and cover letters you mailed to companies. This will not only confirm their receipt, but also show your potential employer that you are a dedicated and focused professional.

8. Try Something Creative
The quickest way to find a job is by knowing what you want, where you want to work, and aggressively pursuing it. Make cold calls and send your resume and cover letter to organization that you would like to work. When trying to quickly find a job, you must creatively and confidently be able to sell yourself to employers. Step out of your comfort zone and get creative with your sales and marketing tactics. For example, you can create a video resume, blast it on YouTube, and send it to potential employers. Another technique is to send a small item with your resume to gain attention, such as a coffee cup with a note stating you would like the opportunity to meet over coffee and discuss your qualifications. For a more traditional way to grab attention, send a small thank you note with your resume, thanking the hiring manager for reviewing your resume. The smaller envelope will spark his interest and assure he opens it.

While your goal maybe to gain employment as soon as possible, do not neglect your career goals and interests. It is possible for you to find a job you love in a timely manner if you use these tips to stay focused and organized on your search. You will go from job seeker to employment before you know it.
